Malcesine – Holiday at the foot of Monte Baldo
Malcesine’s medieval old town captivates visitors with its stone archways, bumpy cobblestones and narrow alleyways – nearly all of which lead to the old port on the lake. The town is a center of tourism, yet does not lose its picturesque charm. It holds a number of goodies for visitors: windsurfers and sailors adore the lake, while less sporty types will enjoy strolling around the old town and along the lakeside promenade. Those who want to fly high can take a cable car ride up to Monte Baldo, at 1,760 meters above sea level. Perfect for a nice long bike tour!
