Sirmione

Also called the “Pearl of Garda”, Sirmione fascinates and amazes due to the enchanting beauty of the landscape and the architectural harmony of the town which inherited the best of the past centuries. Built on a thin and long stretch of land, making it the natural watershed of the lower part of Lake Garda, it has beautiful and historically significant areas that are a must-see. On the tip of the island, in fact, rest the remains of the great Roman Domus “Grotte di Catullo, a precious testament to the 1st Century BC, and a little further ahead is the castle Scaligero, with its high crenellated walls and medieval village. The long promenade alongside the lagoon peninsula offers amazing views, while wellness enthusiasts can benefit from the sulphurous hot spring, the Bojola, which surges near the shore.
